It has been an exciting year of growth and engagement at the library. This year, the library welcomed 224,584 visitors. This is roughly twice as many people as visited the former library. The study rooms have been in constant use by individuals and by community groups.
At all times of day and night people are in the library, looking for books, using the wi-fi, chatting in the cafe, attending programs, and taking job interviews. The teen library has become the place to go after school, and on early release Wednesdays it is literally standing room only. And, the beautiful children's room has become a place for families to spend time together. The best sights to see are so many readers, sitting on the comfortable chairs or in the window seats in the children’s room.
Finally–Medford has a library where our community can come together and thrive.
